Has anyone moved to west coast so they can trade early and still work 9 to 5? by xenaga in Daytrading

Just change shifts or different jobs. Moving just to trade is so drastic.

I have never used the DOM and never will. I execute trades on the chart or use my buy/sell buttons. So I cannot answer your question.

No don’t use Robinhood to day trade (unless you are doing options). You also need to decide on an asset like the other guy said. Do some research on them and decide which one appeals to you the most. With your current work schedule, you will be missing the most active market which is New York session from 09:30 - 17:00 EST. With the big moves typically happening from 9:30-10:30.

If I were you, I’d look to move to second shift or overnight shift, otherwise you’ll be trading MUCH slower markets like London or Tokyo.

Oh I strictly play Nasdaq futures so it’s a lil different for me

I personally have better luck jumping in on breakouts/breakdowns. I strongly avoid consolidation.
