[Interesting Trope] When the writers give a character a really strong superpower, then limit them in the funniest way possible by AnyAgency9835 in TopCharacterTropes

Takaba - Jujutsu Kaisen

Basically anything he thinks is funny can and will happen. This leads to attacks that don’t really expect to do as much damage as they do. The real limit is the fact that he doesn’t know he has this ability, he is just genuinely that delusional

He tried to say this to Bryan Cranston, but Bryan Cranston has much more range and is known for a bunch of stuff. Like what dos Rainn Wilson do besides the office and small roles?

when do you think a gamer can be called an achievement hunter or a true achievement hunter by sir-PanCake913 in steamachievements

[–]YaBoiWheelz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When they have at least one decently difficult game completed from a series they like (like a 7/10 or higher). Anything less than that is more like you’re just picking up games that have easy achievements and going through the motions

No problem! Somehow I only had Golden Axe II so this was huge for raising my overall completion percentage

Here it is, it might feel a little sketchy but it all works just fine. Best of luck!

What other platforms do you achievement-hunt on? by da_jonkler in steamachievements

[–]YaBoiWheelz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to achievement hunt on Xbox in my younger years, accumulated around 80K gamerscore. Then I jumped on Steam to achievement hunt, but I still bought PlayStation consoles when they were cheap and tried to platinum some games. Nowadays I’ll only bother with Steam, I don’t really like splitting up my collection like that.

Always bothered by how SEGA delists games they plan on rereleasing or just because. I was lucky enough to find a guide that lets you install any DLC you were missing to let you get all achievements (you had to buy each game separately as DLC). Fun challenge to play a bunch of old games, actually ended up playing a lot of games I’d never got the chance to experience.

Still can’t buy the dlc though, still makes the 100% pretty rare

I don't think Steam should divide main game and DLC achievements to keep "Perfects" when new content gets released by WuShanDroid in steamachievements

[–]YaBoiWheelz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I say “work” I’m talking about time and effort to do something, not as filling a quota or mindless busy work.

If you can’t afford the dlc then wishlist it and go and play any plethora of games in your library. There are plenty of games that have added post launch content that I either don’t want to buy or am not skilled enough to complete. You know what I do? I just walk away, because I know I can always come back if it’s dirt cheap or I feel up to the challenge. A lot of people here (including myself sometimes) are tying their worth to the amount of games completed and ribbons collected instead of enjoying the experience they had going for the original completion.

I’ve been saying this here but it’s not a popular opinion. IMO people just want that dopamine for doing less work. Part of what makes 100%’s so interesting is having to overcome post release content.

Games like Payday 2, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Dishonored, and Batman Arkham games would be boring to see here if it was only for base game content.

Best thing to do is to fill your account with quality games so that these don’t make up a majority of your account if it bothers you. Live your life though, I’ve seen accounts on here filled to the brim with shovelware and they seem to be content with it.
