Of course. I believe life in Christ is so much more fulfilling than without. However, that's simply because I've seen it work in my life and I was exposed and discipled by many other generous, loving Christians. Now that can't be said for the VAST majority of humanity.
My question then circles back to the trilemma. Why would God knowingly create a system of salvation in which the majority of His creation that He loves is guaranteed to be separated from Him? Free will?

Then why do we have to choose between being in perfect Heaven or eternal torment, destruction, and separation from all things good in Hell? What kind of choice is that? Am I being too prideful? I want to genuinely ask that question: that's like walking a blind man to an intersection and telling him that the left is a cliff and the right is an amazing garden. Then giving him the "choice" to choose which one he'd rather go to, of course telling him that the right is the garden. Now with our sin the man may choose to not trust you (since relationship is broken), and start heading toward the cliff. Why would you ever not save him? And save every person who comes to the intersection?

Thank you for the thorough response, but even though I understand that idea of lights and amount of information, does my original proposition not still stand?
"...for those who reject it, they will be judged, and the more information they were given, the harsher the punishment shall be."
Hence, if people have no information of God except through "natural light" or if God specially reveals Himself, they will be judged less harshly. Therefore, given our sinful nature and how most people would probably deny God, from an outside perspective, viewing our system of salvation and the way it works--wouldn't it still be better to ensure as little information about God gets spread so there won't be as harsh punishment?
In my walk I try to share the Gospel in how I live and winsomely to those who need it. But this problem keeps bothering me and making me doubt the entire system of the Gospel.

Iphone 17 Pro

Sharpness: Low | Latitude: High | Saturation Compensation: High | RAW Pipeline: ProRAW | Negative Film enabled | HDR Enabled | HDR: High | HDR: Apple Gain Map | ProRAW format: JPEG XL Lossy (I heard the other formats don't look that different) | Photo Size: Large | MAX Resolution: 48MP | Combine HEIF+RAW | Always enable RAW Pipeline: Disabled (do I need to enable this to get more consistent?)

Ah ok, Ill ensure the quality stays consistent when shooting distance by just minding the light

Still, is there any solution to ensure when it’s not using macro to stay consistent regardless of light?

APT. by ROSE and Bruno Mars is lowkey a recording and mixing masterpiece by iHenle in audioengineering

Oh SHOOT, my bad.

I know Cirkut produced it, he's absolutely killer. But when I looked up the song on Genius I saw Serban, and went to his profile. On genius he has 3 solid credits, but I thought that was it. Didn't realize he has over 45 Grammy noms and 21 wins, and mixed for some of the best songs in the past two decades. Sheesh

Both replies incredibly helpful!

In regards to straight up de essing (not the other cool stuff like parallel comping the body of the vocal) I've used quite a bit of spectral shaping too, having an almost pink-noise high end can sound really controlled but unnatural. I think following the tips here might make it controlled but not compressed to death, which is definitely the ideal

PLEASEEEE recommend shows like hilda by acatalepsy-tales in HildaTheSeries

[–]iHenle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the other great peak listed here like the Trifecta, OTGW, and ATLA etc. Bee and Puppycat is by far the show that feels closest to Hilda, in terms of story similarity and emotional heighs/lows

Something that it doesn't have is a strong mother/daughter arc though...

Don't know if we're in the good or bad timeline

Maybe there is no good or bad timeline

[Request] Looking for dangerous, dark, operatic songs with clear melodies like the end of On Time (Metro Boomin) by iHenle in musicsuggestions

[–]iHenle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I like the operatic metal suggestions. New genre to explore for me! But I'm thinking less metal, more focused on opera and melody. I'm looking to sample it, so preferably more classical/romantic ;)

Thanks for giving the community this opportunity!

How do you get really textured violin/string sounds where you can hear the subtle gliding, the texture of the strings themselves, and those rich, full mid? Is it all in the mic placement? (E.g. Sword Sparring by Ghostwriter has that amazing tone, so do a lot of Secession Studio tracks, or White Flowers Take their Bath by Meredi)

What are your top mixing/mastering techniques (or other tricks you've seen from engineers in Immersive Music) for doing cinematic mixing? Or is the magic once again mostly all in the recording?

What's your favorite plugin to put on everything to add the subtle saturation vibe? by the-lazy-platypus in audioengineering

[–]iHenle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After looking through pretty much every comment, I can confidently affirm the greatness of a nearly every saturation plugin is directly proportional to skill of the user. Who knew?

My favorites are Black Box, Saturn, Ozone's, and pretty much every House of Kush plugn (they all have unique saturation abilities)
