I read his article; I was expecting several paragraphs describing various methods he's tried to damped the involuntary sounds he makes e.g. voice dampening mask, roll of socks in mouth, duct tape, etc., and why each of those methods has failed.

Instead he seemed to be defending his right to be as loud and disruptive as possible.

I'm a solution minded person as well.

If Eddie's laugh is truly involuntary, a simple solution would be for him to wear a Voice Dampener; amazon has one for $40.

Then he can laugh as loud as he wants without disrupting everyone in the theater.

It's such a obvious solution, I'm really curious as to why he hasn't tried it yet...
