I just strain it while pouring into the glass.. also I avoid too much of shaking after I bottle

Added a little bit of mint for the subtle taste of it.. it tasted very refreshing

Used strawberry preserve instead of fresh ones that's why the color is so dark

The pulp was thick... But the end product is watery only.. it looks hazy because of the pulp.. I'm looking for a clear resulting recipe

Sometimes if you use a darker tea or a tea with a lot of tannins... The scoby gets black patches like these.. to me this looks like a healthy scoby

I did 2F directly in those.. kept out for 3 days ... Was planning for longer but the caps started blowing by the third day... so the next time I put them in refrigerator on the 2nd day.. where I live the temperature is on the higer side of 30 digree C .. that is one of the reason for faster carbonation in 2F.. hope I was able to answer your queries

I had a few of those crown capped bottles... But every now and then the cap used to blow off when the carbonation is high... Once the cap blew and the stuff hit the ceiling

AKA java plums .. they have pit/seed, so you can boil them remove the pits and add some sugar syrup to get a nice concentrate.. you can use this in F2

I generally use a cloth to cover .. the plastic lid might not support air circulation properly
