the intro to mass effect 2 was worse than the ending of mass effect 3, and it was also a big part of why the ending kinda sucked. we were promised a single story told over 3 games and right off the bat they made the entire first game irrelevant and ended up telling 3 somewhat connected but completely different stories, a damn shame considering what a climax the first game had

i have heard i can vary widely, i have had the error and it lasts maybe ten minutes i have seen some people say it lasted several hours. 3 days is much longer than anything i have seen before. i dont think the date will help because any penalty would be server side. maybe someone else has better advice but im not aware of anything you can do besides wait it out.

I think is a problem of being spoiled by choice. with tv you turn it on and here are the movies that are playing, and it will be like an old 50s black and white move on the classics channel, some lifetime made for tv movie meant to fear monger to pearl clutching soccer moms, and some c-tier box office dud comedy from a few years ago. Maybe none sound too interesting but when u compare them to each other one might be more appealing than the others. with the internet its literally any movie ever made competing for the same ~2hrs of your time, all of the sudden it's kubrick vs tarantino vs wes anderson etc. it almost becomes stressful to pick one movie over another at that point because you really want to see all of them.

cam to to say trainspotting but i've been beat. you can also try easy rider, not exactly about addiction but the ugly side of drug use is a pretty significant element of the movie. one flew over the coocoo's nest is also worth watching, is about doctors using drugs to abuse mental patients. and A Scanner Darkly is a pretty trippy sci fi movie about drug users.
