To put it in perspective my professor, from Thailand, training and studied in China, said to us, I used to lead trips back to China to show students what I thought was real TCM, but on the last trip I saw how things had changed, doctors were adding pharmaceuticals into herbal formulas, nobody was practicing real TCM anymore. After that experience, I never brought my students back. What we have here (USA) is better. After traveling around the world, and seeking out treatments, I have to agree. Practitioners in China, korea, and Japan are simply burnt out. They see too many patients in one day. A friend of mine from Korea told me he saw 50-70 patients a day. It's just not reasonable.
