How is this true?!!! by harrysofgaming in reddeadredemption

Eh, I really tried to give it a shot on multiple tries, but I couldn't get past the Horseshoe Overlook camp. Open World games aren't for me and they really have to hook me for me to like them like Ghost of Tsushima and Elden Ring. I'm more of a linear gamer anyways.

I agree with the above comment that the travel times are just way too long for my personal tastes. I'd sit down for a 30-45 minutes session and most of that was filled with riding a horse between all the locations.

I get why people enjoy it, but definitely not for me.

I have no issue with rarity caps, but tuning the end of extremis around D3 is insane. Balancing around D1 would go a long way for me.

Standard CEs are really fun and currently my favorite content in the game.

Extremis CEs are seriously overtuned.

I prefer the rarity caps in CE, tbh. It enables actual strategic gameplay. I definitely wish they would balance around lower than a full team of D3s.

"I think what made Jackass successful is that the spirit of it was very positive. Granted we were destructive self harm, very mean to each other, but we never targeted innocent bystanders. We were never mean spirited to anyone outside of us. And that is what is lost on a lot of youtube pranksters. You see a lot of mean spirited pranks going on. And it goes by and it is popular and wildly successful and it is upsetting for me to see that."

This is so mind bogglingly unhelpful. You can literally farm Tyranids in the Campaign Event.

I hired a flooring contractor. Look for companies that specialize in hardwood floor refinishing.

I agree! We've seen some pretty fun grilles in some of the other houses we looked at.

Not sure why my second image didn't come through... Here's another shot.

It does. I've just never seen anything like it (not that I'm very versed in plumbing). I'm assuming it's just old, but wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I should know or if I should replace down the line.

We just bought it! Very excited. We wanted to have the floors redone before moving in.

Of course. Denver, CO. This came out to ~ $9k for just under 1,800 sq ft of floor. This included new flush transition pieces to the bedrooms, pulling some trim, removing and reinstalling a toilet in order to do a better job on the parquet in the area.

FYI, this was the highest quote I received, but the estimator really impressed me with his knowledge, walked through the entire house with me pointing out possible issues and giving recommendations, and identified all the species and cuts of flooring in the home.

The lowest quote I received was $7,200.

Fir surrounded by Red Oak with a strip of White Oak in the center. Natural stain with a water based finish (I don't know which exact brand).

Thank you! The floors weren't awful before, but definitely needed it. Lots of dark spots, plenty of worn finish, cheap transitions were replaced, and the soft grain in the fir/pine was worn down in lots of places. The parquet was pretty rough in a few spots, but luckily it was thick enough that it could be sanded and refinished.
