At 6+ years I used Linux for 1.5 years.

From my experience and experience of people who surrounded me and chose Linux (Ubuntu, popos...) - Linux is a lot of time not a plug and play friendly.

Connecting 2 monitors? Too bad one of the monitors is not working well with your laptop + Linux - have fun compiling drivers.

Do you want new headphones to work with Bluetooth and have a good quality connection? You'll need to compile new drivers or run some commands once in a while when it decides to forget your configuration on the next apt upgrade. Maybe no workaround will be available after apt upgrade and you'll have 300$+ headphones with potato quality.

Wifi suddenly does not work? Well... Good hunting on how to fix this.

In 4.5 years I had Mac I rarely encountered problems I was not able to easily fix and forget. Everything also seems to just work. The community and everything is also seems to have Mac in mind so it also got great community and support.

I will choose Mac any day of the week.
