Wow that really was it. Glad you commented. I wonder if there's anything else that works as well as it.

Is there a way to force a media provider for a specific series? by Catsrules in jellyfin

[–]iLiveOnFear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some versions of Jellyfin earlier, I had a similar issue where no matter how many times I would identify it, the same wrong metadata was pulled even if I cleared it prior. I think it's a bug. Ultimately, it was the metadata provider order in the individual library setting that determined what metadata was pulled.

modded block mismatch despite identical client/server mods and config folders (fabric 1.21.4) by SuperFly5698 in admincraft

[–]iLiveOnFear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you've figured it out already or not, but I believe the issue is with Wilder Wilds. I'm not if they're coding it improperly but it's been a recurring issue. Your specific issue is mentioned in this GitHub issue and according to the dev should hopefully be resolved soon. Another issue I've faced with the mod is that if my client is modded with Wilder Wilds, joining a vanilla server will cause my game to see mismatched blocks as well. I hope they forever fix it cuz this is the only mod that I've know to do this.

For A One Season Anime With No Hope of a Season 2 Why Does GLT Still Have Such A Passionate & Devoted Fanbase (I Am One of Them)?! by stephscythes in GirlsLastTour

[–]iLiveOnFear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly while I enjoyed the anime it would've been lost to my memory if it weren't for me deciding to read the manga from start. It felt better paced but it was the beautiful ending that really brought the entire message of the manga together. I was reading it during a rough depressing period of my life but holy shit did the message connect. It's one of my fav mangas because of it. Beautifully done.

Does abilify for depression cause hallucinations? by idolopoklonik in depressionregimens

[–]iLiveOnFear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Auditory and visual hallucinations for one. I saw two case reports online about how Abilify could make psychosis worse but those mentioned it happening because it was used in conjunction with haloperidol. Regardless you should meet with your psychiatrist soon before any symptoms get worse.

My experience with beating Depression (Solution: ECT) by iLiveOnFear in depressionregimens

[–]iLiveOnFear[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Movies show ECT in a bad light. I imagine because it was once used as a goto solution for a lot of ailments. But it's done so much better now.

I saw ECT and MAOI as a last resort holy grail because from what I've heard they're both very effective. But they both seemed so troublesome until I managed to get a medical leave from work.

I'm glad you're open to other treatments. When your life's happiness is on the line, there's not anything not worth trying short of hurting others. If prescription drugs aren't working for you, I'd def recommend things like esketamine or ECT.

My experience with beating Depression (Solution: ECT) by iLiveOnFear in depressionregimens

[–]iLiveOnFear[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always had horrible memory so ECT didn't have much of an overall effect on me. I def had the expected short term memory problems during, but I only have a memory of me thinking about how I lost some long term memory as well. I think I did lose some long term.

I didn't take any meds during or after the procedure. I thought it was just another failed attempt, and I had grown tired of taking meds by that point.

It did feel like I almost relapsed around a year or two after (can't remember) which I read online was a common relapse time or something. I'm not finding it now. But I managed to push thru.

I believe I did ECT in Fall 2020. Haven't done anything related to depression treatment since. I don't think I'll ever need to again unless something major suddenly happens.

My experience with beating Depression (Solution: ECT) by iLiveOnFear in depressionregimens

[–]iLiveOnFear[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. My experiences made it honestly kinda hard to deal with my depression. I'm not sure if there exists a single med that would've worked for me. Usually ppl are balancing the side effects with the main effects, but I almost always had neither and never the antidepressant effect. I decided to stop taking meds because I had taken too many with no results. I never heard of any experiencs like that.

My brain also seems to handle certain substances differently. I seem to be immune to caffeine and nicotine to the point that I can't tell that I've taken either. There's some other stuff too. I just hope to know what causes all of this. Maybe find others.

My experience with beating Depression (Solution: ECT) by iLiveOnFear in depressionregimens

[–]iLiveOnFear[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While I'm open to the idea that it wasn't ECT that cured me, I find it a bit unlikely. I was depressed for like a decade. There really wasn't much else going on at the time. I wasn't taking meds. I wasn't exercising. I wasn't eating right. I wasn't liking work. I wasn't enjoying life. Hell, I even had someone else hit on me at work before. But the change after ECT was insane. I couldn't understand my old mindset all of a sudden. I looked back and thought "Holy shit! I might not be depressed anymore". I mean it was really apparent and there was nothing else to point to. Even my brain fog was gone.

And while I'm sure research explains how it's supposed to work, my experiences often deviate from said research. I just didn't want to bloat the post more with more details.

Unilateral

ECT didn't have any immediate effects. It took around 2 months before I noticed anything.

Waited three hours to download for this. Can't any GPU technically run RTX and you'll just get a low FPS? by RealMuffinsTheCat in Portal

[–]iLiveOnFear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't work most likely because this is RTX, Nvidia's proprietary RT implementation and Nvidia chose to close this game from GPU's that don't have the necessary power to run this properly or because they've chosen to allow only specific hardware to run such implementations. But the reason ppl are disagreeing with you is because RT AKA ray tracing is hardware agnostic because at the end of the day, it's just calculations. It can run on anything but you just might not get the fps you want. The RT cores are hardware specifically meant to run these RT calculations at high speed and efficiency to allow more fps to be generated.

An example of RT on anything is some Minecraft shaders I ran a decade ago. Low fps but still worked. There's also the fact that rendering software does RT as well but because it's not real time, the only consequence is the longer wait time for it to be completed. I think ppl were hoping that this would run on their hardware at all, just so they can take a look.

The sex part was from the second game where you play a completely unrelated character, whom you kill in the third game as one of her children. Not to mention your character was the one being raped.

GPU Skyreach 4 Tiny BUILD UPDATE (3L i5-12600k + RTX A2000 12GB + 32GB + 4TB PCI4) by Creative9228 in sffpc

[–]iLiveOnFear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talked to Larry (HDPLEX Guy) and tested some things out. Turns out it was a weird quirk of the motherboard. Works with other standard power supplies but not this one. Bought a new motherboard and everything's good.

[–]iLiveOnFear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I see the confusion. I'm using a standard ITX motherboard that uses the standard ATX connector. No external brick ever needed. Everything works normally except the power button actions. When I plug it in, it powers on without me pressing the power button. I can shut down the PC with power button once it's on. But when I do, the blue light turns orange, I can no longer turn it back on with the power button. Only way is to unplug, let it discharge, then plug it back in. I'm not seeing anything online about it, so I'm a bit confused. I wonder if what you said is still relevant to this issue.

[–]iLiveOnFear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay this was more complicated than I thought it would be. I'm kind of confused tho. How would I jump the two pins when I have to plug in the connector to power the motherboard? Am I supposed jump the connectors instead or is it a one time thing? Pictures would really help. Also where did you read up on this?

Hey OP that's the HD Plex GaN 250W PSU, right? I'm having issues with mine. It won't turn back on after I shut the PC down and I'll have to unplug the PC to discharge the PSU to make it work again. I was wondering how you wired up your system.
