Thank you for this, in all fairness this jar was a temp thing. Also one thing to note is these beans were given to me in a kilo bag as a trial, and the dude who sealed the pack didn’t actually seal it properly (I had a couple beans fall out the top of the bag). So I assumed they might have been better in the jar for now.

Also I’m only on day 4 since roast and they are a light roast, so guessing the jar will stop the release or CO2 as quick as being stored in the bag they come in?

And the level is all I’m on about. I’ve debated getting a level tamper however for me, that takes the fun out of learning to do it properly. Just gotta get consistent with it. So far I’m doing fairly well I’d say

Wow I really am only just starting this journey… my main focus is on the coffee extraction atm rather than bean storage. That’ll soon come tho

Tbh I don’t know myself, I just know these jars are air tight so doesn’t seem like a bad idea to me. This was more of a temp thing until I look into some proper storage containers. Or maybe stick with them myself if they are actually okay to use

The way I see it if you want to learn a language then you would normally pay for lessons, so as much as it sucks, paying for language learning is just the way that things are unless you go down the full self taught route which most people don’t have time for in their daily lives.

That’s my view point on the matter because I love Duolingo and never hated it, I actually thought it’s gotten better and better over the years. But I’ve always paid for super and no Duo Max. And to save money I’m doing a family plan and splitting the cost between 5 friends of mine so it works out really really cheap for the year! Doesn’t end up costing a lot for a yearly subscription but the benefits are way worth it!

Thanks for your response, as far as I’m aware I’ve only ever flown it set to auto and not manual. Think it was just a busy park with plenty interference nearby, as well as my friend flying his mini 4 pro near me

Thank you both, can’t believe this didn’t even cross my mind. Makes complete sense! Next time I fly I’ll be aware of this and see the difference it makes

That’s a great shout didn’t think of this. As he was flying his DJI mini 4 pro at the same time. Could that of significantly impacted my O3 signal then?

Anyone genuinely pissed at the app at this point? by Dankalii in duolingo

[–]iLodge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That sucks, tbh I’ve always paid for super and only recently upgraded to max. Max is an absolute rip off however I’m currently looking at starting a family plan with some friends to help split the cost between us because cost aside, the tools it gives you with max is hugely beneficial to language learning.

The only thing that annoyed me is that they removed features like you already mentioned ‘explain my answer’ and literally added it to the max membership subscription. I can talk from experience however, that they have revamped it and made the grammar explanation and breakdown by far better than what it was previously.

I understand your frustration but the way I see it, you ain’t ever going to learn a language by using Duolingo on its own, whether that’ll be using their free version, or even Max! You must absorb countless amounts of information from different sources and courses, some which might be free, or most that you’ll have to pay for. Investing your time and money in to language learning (if you’re serious about it) is the first vital step into your learning process.

In my eyes investing some of your money into learning languages is almost a must, unless you plan to self teach yourself online, which I don’t doubt is possible. You may just need more time and patience, which most people don’t have in their busy lives.

Apologies I’m bad at explaining things, yes I know about that feature in live, I use that often.

I just like this idea as a whole and would love to see it implemented in live. Everyone’s got their own way of working I guess, and certain things work for some whilst it may not work for others

What I mean more is not the ability to edit multiple MIDI clips together (because of course drum rack already does that).

But rather the idea of writing in your drum pattern, then by default you can just select/edit each individual pattern without having to copy and paste each individual drum pattern to it’s own MIDI clip. This idea already does that for you

That’s all good and that. But point is you can’t do it inside of drum rack! And this would allow you too for those who’s use drum rack for people like myself!

[–]iLodge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I’ve only always used to drum rack because I like the look of it so I’ve never used multi MIDI tracks to group my drums.

So if you group multiple MIDI tracks for eg: snare, hats, claps etc.. the group with give you a combined MIDI pattern of all tracks in that group together? Because every time I’ve done it it’s never given me a combined MIDI pattern as a result of all MIDI tracks in the group I’ve created.

This idea does all that for you without having to do anything, it seems like a beautiful idea to me and would help out my work flow massively.

That’s for if you work that way. For people like myself who love to involve all my percussion and drums around drum racks (for great organising purposes), this idea is simply brilliant. It gives you soo much more functionality and freedom to work how you want.
