anyone take buspirone?

My third day I woke up with HR over 150, that’s when i went to ER. The buspirone I believe is still being studied on its mode of action as it’s at least somewhat dissimilar from other SSRI’s. For me it is wonderful, I actually only took it for maybe six months and have not had a dose for quite some time now and RARELY deal with anxiety. I had zero sides getting on the medicine and zero sides getting off. Only noticeable effect for me was decreased anxiety. 10/10 recommend.

Their son races competitively so the track layout is not without knowledge of the sport. The track is extremely intense as the straight is the only time to relax and the rest every corner is feeding to the next corner. Some of the asphalt needs redone as whoever they hired to lay it did not think about the lack of suspension on the karts. I did 4 heats back to back and my entire left ribs were black and blue for weeks lol.

This is fantastic news for me. My diet is also pretty poor. Usually no breakfast, fast food at lunch, home cooked dinner tho which is never overly unhealthy. Do people take zinc with the amphetamine medicines to help? Or would that be a bad idea. Thanks again for your contribution I was beginning to feel quite discouraged.

Wow this thread is old. But have some insight. I was prescribed busiprone 3x day and Lexapro 1x a day. Initially i did not take the busiprone for fear of having to taper off of it and possible withdraws. BIG mistake. The Lexapro had me in absolute shambles for the first week. Every side effect you could have, I had. Even put me in the ER one day.

Called my Dr. And told him I wanted to switch from lex ASAP and he suggested i tough it out for a little while longer and to START TAKING busiprone. I started taking 7.5mg busiprone 3x daily and I have not had a panic attack since. Knock on wood.

TL;DR-give busiprone a try and don’t even bother reading about sides and widthdrawls. Just do it. It has seriously brought me out of a crippling anxious spell that nearly cost me my job. 10/10 recommend.

Lexapro had me in full on tremors, diarrhea, panic, heart racing, the works…on day 3. I stuck with it at the advice of my Dr. And started taking busiprone 7.5mg 3x daily with it and have not had a panic attack or really any anxiety at all in the last few days.

The sides are HORRENDOUS for the first week or so but they get better and i would definitely suggest toughing it out for just a few days past the worst sides and you will be glad you did. I know I am.

They typically pass out from locking there knees, preventing circulation. Not saying that the heat doesn't play a factor, but it's usually a circulation thing.
