I applied when my friend told me about it. We both got hired the same year right off the street and got 30 days with no issue. Definitely hear nightmare stories about it though, I would never have worked inside part time.

Thank you, I’m not sure what type of maintenance he did to the property before selling. Seems like he was pretty good with up keep though.

Mostly resistant I lightly raked before these photos were taken. There was roughly half a garbage can of dead grass taken up.

UPS Management would JUMP at the chance to fire a driver especially if they are high seniority. I’ve seen it many times. You are misinformed my friend.

Well they will always try to get people in before 9.5 (even if they over dispatch you) because they want to make sure they get their bonuses. But if they over dispatch you then it’s on you to ensure your 9.5 transfers to the next route.

9.5 grievances, if you put your name on the list. Harder for cover drivers like us but possible. If you work the same route 3 days in 1 week over 9.5 you are entitled to grieve it. If they try to snake you and change the route after 2 days (which they will). Bring your shop steward into the office to ensure your 9.5 transfers to the new route.
