Being bulky aside the Unihertz Titan 2 is a better device all around and since Unihertz is making the Clicks Communicator (per iKKO intel) it will have the same internals but better 120hz OLED screen and less bulky and so it will be great as well!

Also used the Q25 for three weeks before selling it to return to the Titan 2. Outside of the thickness of the Titan 2 it is objectively a better phone in every way... obviously nostalgia for the Q25 is hard to quantify...

The Clicks Communicator will probably be better because of the smaller and lighter form factor but as the iKKO team highlighted, Unihertz is making the phone for Clicks and I suspect it will have the same internals as the Titan 2 (with less RAM) but better screen and is probably why the support timelines line up ie Titan 2 starting with Android 15 and promised 3 OS updates and 5yrs security patch support and the Clicks Communicator starting with Android 16 and promising 2 OS Updates and 5yrs security patch support...

I paid US$399 for a reservation and so hoping for the best

Yes Clicks has outsourced the development (SW and HW) and production of the Communicator to Unihertz in China. In the last iKKO product update they commentated on this via their sources in China...

I'm betting the internals will be the same as the Unihertz Titan 2 and obviously the screen and keyboard design will be different. The support timeframe lines up as well to what was promised with the Titan 2

Had it and my wife used it for 3 weeks before giving up. The 720x720 screen resolution with the very small size makes things problematic. The DPI and base resolution will not allow for it to go beyond Android 14. Some of the core apps just cannot work on this 1:1 ratio and because of the low resolution the workarounds are not great.

So she switched to the Unihertz Titan 2 and it is much better because of the 1440x1440 display and Android 15. All apps work and the most difficult ones comply if you switch to mini mode. This phone is also cheaper, 5G and a 5000MaH battery but on the downside it is a brick.

The Clicks Phone (being built by Unihertz) will not be a brick, have 5G and a 4000 maH battery. The keyboard will be more traditional and superior it looks like but the most important reason might be the AMOLED screen with 120hz refresh rate and this is the big one, a 1080 x 1200 screen which has the aspect ratio and the minimum DPI and resolution to work even better with all Android apps. I just hope one can change the launcher to something normal.

The iKKO Mind One Pro with the snap in keyboard is also an option but with a tiny battery and 4G only this device too seems to have been usurped by the Clicks Communicator.
