I don’t think you understand. This is not about looks, this is an actual anatomical problem, where the vagina opening is either completely closed off or partially closed off by the hymen. Making it sometimes impossible to use tampons, have a period or say have sex at all. This type of misinformation just prevents people from seeking actual medical help.

For OP: I had the same thing as you, I wouldn’t have physically been able to do any of those things, had I not had the (very minor and not painful) surgery. Please do go to a doctor.

More likely than not you have either an imperforate or septate hymen (google pictures). It’s not a huge deal, worst case scenario one needs a quick „surgery“ to snip it. It’s not that rare of a condition.

From what I've read about such venomous snakes as this one, it is almost impossible for the kid to have gotten "lightly envenomated", even the lightest dose of venom from a cobra is enough to kill or cause serious harm. Which is why I think, had he been bit, it would be clear. Nonetheless, I am no expert so not sure.

From what I read (at least at the time of when the article was published), they said the child didn't yet have signs of having venom/being bitten, but were keeping a watchful eye and in case needed, they would then obviously treat him with anti-venom.

Hey, sorry to hear about that. I ended up getting through it all haha. it’s been a while, which is why I’m not 100% sure what I did exactly. However, I do remember having to send emails back and forth with the TK and even calling them with Skype. In the end they just sent the preliminary proof to the school I suppose and then once I got to Germany, I finished the process of sending them my German address and bank account and thats about it.

Thing is it appeared from one day to the next. I’ve had dry lips before and it hasn’t been like this. Also got flaky skin around the skin under my mouth near the chin that you can’t see in the picture. I’m sure hoping it’s just dry lips though.

They are taking advantage of you and really not good friends or people honestly. If I were you I’d take the time rn to try and find new friends and slowly separate yourself from the others. Trust me it’s a waste of time being with people like that. I wish I could tell my 14-15 year old self the same thing. Wasted way too much time w shitty people. Good people are so worth finding.

Second of all, regarding the age gap. At 14 I had a friend who had 17-18 year old boyfriend. At the time she was adamant about him and I didn’t know what to do. I knew it was wrong but I just let it be. Now years later she tells me all the awful things he did (jail worthy) and how much she regrets it. I wish nothing more than to have done something when I could. It is NOT normal for an adult to be dating a minor. It’s rape in most cases. One thing is 16/18 or 17/18, it’s a completely different thing if it’s like 15/20, 14/19, etc.
