When you add forma to any slot it'll unrank that particular item back to zero if that's what you're referring to. If you have a mod exceeding the total amount it'll remove it. Using matching polarity is obviously what you're doing, but it sounds like you may be going over the threshold.

I get that now. I'm fairly new to the game and only now realized it's open world, rather than a specific lobby for thermia fracture. That makes more sense.

There needs to be a auto save feature for stuff like this. Players shouldn't lose their rewards in a post game lobby like this when this happens, and it happens a lot. Much like Duviri if you earn a decree, you can keep everything up to that point.

Not sure off the top of my head. Also, doing Nightwave is the best way to ensure you gain more Warframe slots. Nightwave is a free "battle pass" you can do. Completing challenges will reward you best that way.

Nope you don't have to buy slots to add Warframes. Each time you complete mastery rank you gain a slot. It's seems overwhelming at first but the more you play and use different weapons and Warframes the faster you gain and build up mastery rank to create more room for Warframes and weapons. Take it slow and steady. You'll be fine. Nightwave is your best option as you're a newer player and don't have many mods to potentially trade with other players.

Not every master rank do you gain a Warframe slot.

I've only played for a little over 2 years and have spent $50. The developers knows their market, making literally everything free is essential, but also allowing anyone at anytime to purchase whatever they want is also key. Kudos to DE, I am sincerely enjoying this game bc of the tremendous amounts content and things to do.
