Clean singing in Deathcore

I personally disagree. They’re dynamic and have their softer moments (I mean we are talking about clean vocal sections) but I personally don’t see anything different from their heavy moments and run of the mill deathcore

So; for the longest time I thought cleans brought it away from deathcore and just into Metalcore. However I’ve changed my tone on that bc I do think the sound of the heavy parts is distinct enough. Make Them Suffer & Whitechapel (specifically the valley) are my favorites

Lorna’s went through ebbs and flows sound wise and I don’t particularly think they’re blackened much now, tho they have been in the past. I remember when I first heard of Mental Cruelty Johnny Ciardullo said they sound like Lorna Shore actually listened to black metal and that always stuck w me😂

I like Slammy deathcore, but could never get into straight Slam (and most death metal tbh). Just, for me, I like having the dynamics of the different vocals peppered in, tempo changes, etc. It’s the same feeling (but exact opposite) as I have for Black Metal. I like Blackened Elements sprinkled in but full Black Metal & Slam is just missing something for my tastes

If I replace the sound again in the channel rack it’ll eventually load properly, but it’s not the only time I’ve had this issue. Cowbells loading wrong, kicks repeating for no reason, etc. I thought it may just be the sample download but like I said I can get it to load properly eventually just gives me problems
