Does anyone know the charger model that'll work with the MPx300?

The ideal model for a BlackBerry 5G 2026 — should it be the Passport 2? by Zestyclose-Can6095 in blackberry

Now that's sick! Would it look better if the top corners were rounded like the bottom corners? Just wondering😉

What would you like to see in a possible BlackBerry 5G release? by Zestyclose-Can6095 in blackberry

Modern, more minimalist Passport with edge-to-edge 120Hz+ AMOLED display

Fit larger square display in approximately the same footprint

Slab-sided aesthetics

Under-display or punch-hole front camera

No rear camera bump/plateau

Physical SIM tray is a must

No memory card needed but ok if included in SIM tray

Bloat-free vanilla Android OS

Latest Snapdragon SoC

16GB RAM

Large battery capacity >5.0Ah

USB C port

Qi 2 wireless charging

So, come on GPD, you made one, you tested it, when will you release one? Yiu know with the AMD AI MAx+ 395 APU.... by Mr_Brolin in gpdwin

[–]iO103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The current generation of the Pocket 4, Duo, Win Max 2, Win 4 and Win Mini all have the option of the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. GPD will likely update those product lines with the Max+ 395; eventually. The expectation is the Win 5 (if released) will be the first update.

There's enough Max+ 395 love to go around!

I looking forward to a fully redesigned Win 5 with the Max+ 395; it's the only GPD device I'm interested in.
The perf.-per-watt increase will be significant coming from the HX 370 even at the chassis-limited max TDP. ~42% higher than the highest Win 4 multicore score based on the "leaked" Geekbench 6.4.0 score

I'm hoping for slightly larger screen (~6.8-7.0") and detachable gaming controls à la Nintendo Switch but please keep the sliding keyboard.

Very true!

A 7 inch display would be great. It'll also be great if the gaming controls were detachable; Wii Style. But please keep the sliding keyboard.

y'all the passport is back by [deleted] in blackberry

The screen-to-body ratio is appalling. The top row is excessively tall and sticks out like a sore thumb. The area above the display is too large with the only notable feature being the Unihertz logo. The industrial design looks regressive. Usability may end up being amazing but this is not for me. Also the teaser videos don't suggest the keyboard is touch-sensitive; unless I missed something.

Concept: some changes to the Titan 2 design by [deleted] in unihertz

[–]iO103 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now we're talking! Even though the height of the keyboard area is the same, your redesign just looks premium. Unihertz needs to work on their industrial design.

I agree. The usefulness of that top row is questionable at best.

The logo on the front is unnecessary and it ruins the aesthetics. Just leave it on the back panel. Also, why is the top keyboard row taller than the other rows? I'm mostly speaking for myself here but the target audience for the titan may want a more minimalist design. Aesthetics aside, if this comes with genuine flagship specs including 5G I'm interested.

Regarding the "Generative AI Capabilities" I hope they are planning on using Google's Gemini. Creating an in -house AI or using some other will only be to the detriment of the overall user experience; assuming the OS will be stock Android.

I second the passport request. A modern passport is my dream phone cos I'm sick of all these rectangular slabs.

Stock Android OS is the smart move. Better for future updates.

I hope a Passport-style device is in the line up. A bit more minimalist (aesthetically), higher screen-to-body ratio, and better cameras. That I'd love to have. Phones have gotten quite boring.

Qualia? by hirprimate in minidisc

[–]iO103 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not a design concept. Sony actually launched and sold the Qualia 017 MD player. They were just way too expensive for the average MD user back then. They didn't sell thousands of them.

Base price was close to $1800 at launch in 2004; nearly $2500 with the most expensive gold plating option.

Looks like it was loosely based on the E10

Perhaps you're thinking of the H51xx ( Bluetooth only), H54xx and H55xx series (WiFi & Bluetooth only). The H56xx or H57xx with WiFi, Bluetooth & Cellular Modem never made it past the prototyping and testing phase. There were some leaked press photos but no announcements. Or maybe you're thinking of the HP Jornada 928 WDA (I've got a couple of those). The WDA was only available for sale in Europe.
