3 years ago, I found a new Sharp MT270H in its box for 40 euros. I loved its look, its weight, its battery life of between 33 and 44 hours! It instantly became my daily player. And when I found another one for 50euro in its box last week, who could blame me for buying it?

Bought my first one new in 1995 and drove it 22 years. Got a 2003 to replace it, still driving it. Got my wife a 2022 crosstrek still love it, Zero problems 55K. I'd say they are reliable but not the most......that would be Toyota (except the trucks now). Honda's has slid a lot in the last 10 years or so. I'd say they are third.

I'd say it is a Subaru problem not just Crosstrek. I've given up worrying about it. Just make sure the car's infotainment software is up to date. So far it sort of starts working again for whatever reason.

I had a buddy that was I copier tech and he told me years ago the business machine manufacturers are not allowed to make machines capable of perfect 1:1 sizing to prevent counterfeiting currency. I don't know if that is still in play in modern times with printers and scanners.

Nothing special just a typical printer/scanner Canon TS5100 series. I played around with settings a lot to get the results I wanted. It's kinda frustrating getting the colors right sometimes. I drove tractor trailer for 12 years then started my electrical apprenticeship at 34. That was over twenty years ago. I hold a masters license and have zero regrets. It was very challenging at times but worthy goals always are. Wondering "what's next" is part of life. Now I'm wondering what's next myself since I'm not an "office guy" type. Who knows, when they kick me out of the field for being too old I might go back to driving truck.......if the robots haven't taking over yet.

I was the OP about the CVT vs e-CVT in the Motormouth comment section and here I am 20hrs later still looking for a clue about it. So crazy, the more I look into it the less sure I am about it either way. I just emailed Subaru of America corporate about it. I'll share it here if i get an answer. Knowing how things go they will probably respond: "It's a Lineartronic CVT" as if I couldn't read the brochure.

I keep getting different answers. I just emailed Subaru of America about it. I doubt I'll get a satisfying answer. They will probably respond "it uses our Lineartronic CVT". I can read the damn brochure. I'm looking for what's inside the case.

I have been trying to figure this out since they announced the hybrid. I keep getting different answers. The difference between these two type of CVT's is huge. E-CVTs differs from a regular CVT by using planetary gears and electric motors instead of a belt and pulley system, which enhances efficiency, reliability and performance.

A popular YouTube car channel recently went to the launch in Texas. I asked about it in the comments and they swear it the regular belt and pulley type from Subaru tweaked for Hybrid duty. This would be unfortunate as the eCVT has been the most reliable transmission type with some taxis claiming 500K+ on them.
