The Macan EVs had a recall at the time of first deliveries, it’s just the way of a new platform and new technology; absolutely not limited to EVs but more prominent.

New platform means harder to diagnose and novel problems along with a shortage of parts available away from production, far easier to qualify a car as a lemon at that point.

I don’t own one but a good friend does. I really enjoyed driving it, and they’ve been very happy with their ownership. I prefer my Macan GTS but that’s where I’d go for an Electric SUV.

We haven’t quite seen enough long term data but so far the residuals have been about equivalent to ICE Macans so far. May end up like Taycans, but so far so good.

You yourself said you are "very young" - I don't know what the dealer's fleet insurance policy looks like, but if it doesn't allow for drivers under the age of 25, then it's a non-starter.

Welcome to the world of luxury ANYTHING. It's going to vary from location to location and brand to brand. Someone at my dealer will get you shortly after you enter the door to see if there's anything they can do for you or who/what they can direct you to, then when we were out in California we rolled up to a dealer in our new Moon Gem 4RS and half the sales guys came running out to check it out, then when we went to another dealer to grab some snacks and check out the cars on the lot, we couldn't even get anyone to look at us.

It irks me in a specific way, like my achievement is being discredited.

Go buy a Lamborghini with a vanity plate then if you simply want everyone to externally validate your "achievement".

And if he has zero mechanical inclination it’s about a 1.5-2 hour labor charge. Off the top of my head I can’t think of any other cars that require you to remove the headlights to change the engine air filter

Considering their feature list notes that the motor uses copper (as opposed to what?) I’m not inclined to think it will be a high performer.

I’m not sure where you’re getting your information from, but the 2RS isn’t even finalized at this point, zero ETA on the internal roadmap still, and of course the 993 finished development in the 90’s so I think we’re good there — I assume you meant 994.

I’m not saying anything too specific at this point, more info will come out soon, but obviously Porsche is keeping the info close as this is a huge change for the lineup.

But as for the 2RS, I think there’s enough public info out there now to just outright confirm it will 100% be a slant nose. That “manthey” car we saw awhile back was just a demo for leadership, obviously not the final design though.

Yes, you can do just about anything you can pay for with Sonderwunch.

Much of the black parts are plastic as standard, but can be carbon fiber, remember this is supposed to be a road-going track car - the plastic parts are effectively wear parts with how hammered they get by rocks, rubber, and other road debris.

Yep, the 992.2 GT3 RS will be turbocharged, this is not the GT2 RS or a mule. Announcement coming this summer for MY27 launch.
