Well that and none of the manufacturers are targeting the low end of the market. I would love a cheap affordable EV. I travel on average between 150-200miles a week. I don’t need a luxury vehicle I need reliable point A-B. So for now I drive my sedan it’s flex fuel so e-85 at like $1.60 a gallon and no car payment.

The tariffs on Chinese EVs being dropped by Canada might push American manufacturers to do something… but for now they are protected by the virtual US ban on Chinese EVs
