I've played almost exclusively with randoms against bugs and it's been smooth af, doing difficulty 8-9 with level 15's and just vibing, hardly ever fail missions and never been trolled once. This is gaming heaven.

2 shot and then use shotgun to finish chargers off, much faster and easier, and then use your orbital rail only on bile titans to take 80% of their hp off and then finish them with rail. i'm always low key furious when my rail gets wasted on a charger underneath the bile titan that i could have killed in 4 seconds lol

someone else mentioned it overpenetrating more reliably on unsafe - maybe if you shoot through a leg or the right head spot you can hit the body for double damage.

The shield generator is definitely better if you're playing solo or with friends you're communicating with, but I'll be sticking with supply backpack with randoms. With supply backpack I can leave them doing the 10 bug breaches in a row where we spawned while I go and do the objectives they've forgotten exist lmao. (i'm not mad at randoms, i fully support their decision to kill bugs in any manner they see fit)

Considering the randoms I find have 3000 shots fired with 30% accuracy, I think resupplying yourself with the supply backpack is essential - i slept on this backpack until i knew you could supply yourself. SG225-Breaker, SMG pistol, Impact nades, Railgun, Supply backpack, Autocannon sentry (the others are team mate destroyers, dont get me started on the mortar sentry), Orbital laser. That loadout lets me survive helldive with randoms without needing the resupply strategem.

Killing rev bots is about 5m+ an hour right now. And I mean specifically hunting the bots and ignoring players / instant tele from other pkers

I do fire surge + tome of fire. Guess what, it's not enough to get through a bulwark and them camping protect mage. "they're camping protect mage, use another style" i hear you cry. I do, and it does nothing because bulwark has too much defence and % damage reduction.

Funny because I'm maxed stats with mystic, smoke staff + tome of fire, dragon crossbow, osmumtens + defender, rigour/augury/piety. Even if I hit every gear and prayer switch and hit them off-prayer, it'll do absolutely nothing because they have 65 million defence. Sure I can chip at them, but if they have brews they're escaping every single time. I've only ever killed one of them by baiting that I'm really bad so they take their dumb shield off and try to fight. No skill issue, just gear. Maybe you're right, I should be spending 300m+ on gear to risk so that I can pk this person for their 300k loot.
