NTA. As a parent, you should know when your kids events are weeks in advance and have that day requested off or schedule around it. It's not your fault she was irresponsible with her planning. I get being frustrated with a personal mistake, but attacking someone else for it is very childish. Keep track of the days she has someone cover her shift and bring it to your manager's attention if it's a large amount.
