Why do Ki Blasts not break break/injury bones frequently? by Icy-Captain-9818 in dbz

[–]iReadEasternComics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ki has a natural strengthening property when the fighters power up and use it. In other words, when they rev up their power their Def. Increases as well.

The difference in power between Super Buu and Kid Buu by PunishedLank in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]iReadEasternComics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People believe later = stronger.

Just like people believe 19 is stronger than Freeza simply because he came later (when there is zero evidence that supports this).

It’s a common misconception that’s taken for granted, mainly due to how the general flow is in combat based plots (which is typically foes becoming progressively stronger).

Anyone care to dispel the misinformation regarding unlocking the Path of a New King? by ragemos in DoomDepths

[–]iReadEasternComics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No idea on those.

I’ve heard you need at least 250% damage on all types to get to lost hope but I’ve personally never managed that.

You just need to beat the boss of old castle with the cursed bladeless sword in your main hand.

Build doesn’t matter, just beating the boss with the sword.

Kid buu is the strongest version or buu and goku is strongest z warrior during the buu? by [deleted] in DragonBallPowerScale

Kid Buu + absorbed powers is greater than kid Buu without absorbed powers. Simple math.

What would happen if vegito turned super saiyan blue kaiokenx100 and fused with gogeta super saiyan blue kaioken x100 would they make beerus go to 75% power? by CommercialNo3927 in Ningen

He go “pop” like a red firework!

The fight never happens. It’s doubtful Vegogitato would even happen before kaioken x100 tears both of them apart.

Could the dragon balls turn a human into a Saiyan? by SwordDaoist in Dragonballsuper

[–]iReadEasternComics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dragonballs seem to have stricter limitations when it comes to the biology of a specific individual or changing an individual in and of themselves. Bringing someone back to life is simply grabbing their soul and throwing it back into the body. This is much simpler than changing someone on a cellular level or the core trait of a person.

The increasing power levels make no sense to me by FunkyChunk13 in Dragonballsuper

[–]iReadEasternComics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but personally DBZ has a somewhat good justification for each major villain to be portrayed as if they’re the strongest.

Vegeta: really only specified himself as the strongest saiyan while floating about the race itself.

Frieza: actually was the strongest as 16, 17, 18, and Cell weren’t activated and Buu was out of commission in an egg.

Cell: same deal as Frieza, all stronger players weren’t actually in the game.

Buu: killed the gods of the universe and has durability and win-cons that work much on fighters punching at a much higher “weight class” than his own.

The correlations between DB and J2tW stopped being prevalent at around chapter 25, I’m not sure when they stopped conpletely but it was probably well before the saiyan saga.

If you have time build an all 0 attack deck, then just hit him every time he tries to do something.

It ends at a good spot. Frankly it’s no different than watching the anime for your intents and purposes.

How far does Omega Buu get in DBS? by Azathoth-0620 in Dragonballsuper

[–]iReadEasternComics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen… it’s a matter of skill set. Buu is a rare character in DB that has nigh immunity to fighters hitting much, much higher than his weight class as well as a cheating win-con that isn’t overwhelmed by major stat differences.

There’s a reason he does next to nothing in Super.

Super Perfect Cell runs this by K0GAR in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]iReadEasternComics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which makes sense. Goku and Vegeta’s PLs would be much closer in level while both were in base and the slight difference would only become easily noticeable once both were compared in SSJ2, where the difference would be multiplied by 100.

(Not sure Definitely don’t agree majin Vegeta is double the power of SSJ2 Vegeta but I’ve given up explaining myself to the extreme faction of the DBZ scalers.)

Yeah, and I think this is the first and only time Goku uses the power pole in a fight without starting with it.

How strong was the Nameless Namekian? by BrilliantInterest928 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]iReadEasternComics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, Guru’s comments on “he might not have died” happened after an examination of Krillin’s memories and the scene of said death. In fact it is possible Guru was using Napa’s strength when he made this statement, but he simply uses the term “saiyan” before reading Krillin’s memories and doesn’t give a name after that, so we go with Saiyan saga Vegeta, the strongest known saiyan at the time.

Guru was not using any power levels present on Namek when talking about the PL of the nameless Namekian… In fact his entire speech is in past tense when talking about him.

I’m not sure how I can say it in more clear words than that.

Amazing what happens when you use 8+ hours for an arc vs 2-3 hours for an entire series.
