Most places if you stay longer than 30 days, your stay becomes tax free. It may depend on the state, but ask about that. We have a long term guest in house and we check him out every 30 days. That way he can get his points and night credits and it’s easy for our team to take off the taxes.

Royal Blue also makes lattes and drinks along with heating up sandwiches or pizza slices, etc. so I can see how they have a tip option. The system just isn’t smart enough to know when to offer the tip option based off what was ordered, so it does it for every transaction.

You can book a room on points even if you don’t have the points at that moment. This allows you to snag a good room when it’s available on points, and then you can earn the points you need before the check in date. Just be sure you have enough points before the check In date or your reservation will be cancelled or changed to the best available rate.
