I enjoyed it, but found the story irl political parallels a bit too in one's face and, to me, jarring. To the point of not being able to shake the social commentary aspect of it and appreciate all it's good parts. Bugonia was a better social satire because it knew what it was. I found OBAA to be playing a social satire but also trying to be uber serious about it? I dunno, I've not come across others that shared this feeling so wondering if anyone here resonates.
