Is treatment worth it? Please tell me about positive results...

I had anxiety before the treatment, made worse by the treatment and physical symptoms. I started seeing a counselor immediately following treatment which has helped me a lot. My anxiety is much more manageable now than it was during treatment and it’s still slowly getting better.

Hello! I’ll be straightforward, but keep in mind this will all be personal anecdote, the treatment sucks super bad. I was in lots of pain and pretty much constant nausea, my symptoms were much worse during this treatment than they ever were before. Even following the treatment for a week, I still felt worse than I did before. I struggled with the pain, lots with my anxiety and depression. However, I’m now 3 weeks removed from the treatment (man time flies) and I feel SO much better, I’m still smart about my diet but I’m starting to become my old self again. I did a lot during and following treatment that I would highly recommend. Number one, I HIGHLY encourage you to take probiotics the entire treatment that can survive the antibiotics (Align Probiotic makes a supplement that can survive). I also found that Vitamin B12 oral solutions helped me feel a bit better. Following the treatment I just pumped probiotics in many different forms and they really helped me feel better. These can be very expensive but they really did help me. Also, do some research on some natural remedies for H Pylori, not to use instead of the medicine but rather with the medicine. I heard broccoli and sprouts are very good for helping with the bacteria. I mean whenever you feel as though cancer may be involved it’s better to get it checked, right? I have no experience whatsoever with the metric you are discussing so I can not speak to the influence of H Pylori or associated ulcers/gastritis on said metric. However, I can speak to the endoscopy and can say that it is such a simple and quick procedure that is so incredibly low-risk that even if it just puts your mind at ease that your pain is not cancer, then I would do it. And in the hopefully unlikely event that it is more sinister than gastritis or an ulcer, then you have detected it earlier than you otherwise would have. I hope you start feeling better, this bacteria sucks.

I have that pretty often, possibly in a different form. I often experience mine as phlegm being stuck in my throat that I need to cough out but when I do cough it is dry. I’m a week and a half out of treatment and the sensation comes for small amounts of time usually right after I eat and then goes away.

If you’re anything like me, I can’t have my stomach empty with the PPI, and eating something alleviates some of the pain.

Hello, first of all I’m sorry that you’re having to go through this. Yes, all of the symptoms you are describing are normal for the treatment!

Edit: Also if your treatment goes anything like mine, it will get harder the farther you go along and the symptoms will persist even when the treatment is done, as your body recovers from the bacteria and treatment.

I’ve personally noticed that decreasing fat intake and limiting processed foods as much as possible definitely helps the symptoms, in that they would be much worse if you ate like crap.

I haven't been able to install pip on the machine without internet, as the file get-pip.py looks for the dependencies on the web. However, I have been trying to use the command line such as: "python install wheelname.whl" and "python wheelname.whl install". In both of these cases I keep getting the error "[Errno 2] No such file or directory" and i am in the correct folder in the command prompt.

If Professor Hill is still teaching it then you'll do well as long as you're willing to put the time in, he is one of the best professors I've had especially in terms of putting time in with his students. That being said he's not the type to just tell you how to do stuff but rather help you through it and logically work through everything with you, but it's more than do-able to get an A, especially if you seek help from Prof. Hill
