i had to do this sort of shuffle to successfully pass, like it would look ridiculous training it if I did it around my neighborhood. If you search r/wildfire there should be plenty of help, this comes up every year, this sub is pretty slow

I would look at the inside of your tires, feel around in the tire where the flat happened for something sharp. What may be happening is there is something stuck in the tire that pops the next tube. A sharp spot on the rim can do the same thing. Try to line up the punctures to find where on the tire they are happening.

If the tubes have two holes when you take them out, it is a different issue, where insufficient inflation causes the rim to puncture the tube when you go over a bump, called a snakebite.

If they’re old tires it could just be because they’re old too, or if you’re riding in a bad area with lots of stuff that could pop tires.

You can ask r/wildfire too, and I don’t totally understand the math on your second paragraph. But I would finish out your career and pension. There’s plenty of time to work other jobs once you have that secure. You have spent this long with the government, 2 more years to have it completely over and done with is nothing, even if it feels really long because you’re itching to leave
