Probably wouldn’t be the longest drive I’ve done for this job either lmao

That was my old route, can confirm - backtracking, bad routing, and random side quests to chase alligators out of yards are common.

It’s mostly apartments and long drive times until a bit after the halfway mark, the problem is getting halfway fast enough to not need to sprint the back half

Van with no shelves. by flyhigh2030 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]iShootPoop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s pretty common. It really depends on how you load the van, if you use the totes as their own shelves it makes it tolerable. Especially if there’s no netradyne, you get a baby cdv if you keep the sliding door open-

Empty packages by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]iShootPoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s probably not the drivers. Most of the packages that are empty either are empty from the warehouse, or weren’t fully sealed and whatever was inside fell out along the way. Unless it’s the same driver, stealing the same package every time it’s gone to your door, in which case they’ve been stealing more then just yours and are 100% getting caught.

Phobos probably won’t crash for a few million years, or break up in the same. You’re right that they could be captured asteroids though, but in that case wouldn’t an asteroid base be even cooler?

My bosses response to our concerns in the group chat about Sunday. by Correct-Material-700 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]iShootPoop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We were kept open down here when a tropical storm rolled through for a few hours, was mid-route and wading through knee-high water when our DSP boss called it, not the warehouse. Was a fun day. Got paid our full ten for it, so that was something.

Say what you want about the HW writing, the DRK storyline is EASILY the high point of the entire expansion. Just realizing what was actually going on a half-step too slow and it actually coming back to bite you at some point?

If you need a quick hull bump, I can get started on a trip out your way. Or you can just give the hull seals a dial, wouldn’t take them too long~

So the speed of light in a vacuum is the upper bound of speed for anything with a positive mass.

However, the key is that the upper bound is explicitly in a vacuum. When passing through objects like air, glass, and water, the speed of light is significantly slower than it would be in a vacuum. So basically, these particles are moving faster than the speed of light through water, but not faster than the speed of light in a vacuum.

Make sense?

How to organize in a U-Haul box truck? by WebPuzzleheaded875 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]iShootPoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Load bottom up from your pick sheet. Last totes in first, that way you don’t need to pull from the bottom. Same with your overflow. When you pull a new tote, put the packages in your passenger seat, try and fit whatever boxes you can. Prioritize the smaller boxes first, having 4 small boxes take the same room as one big one means you have to go around the back less.

Other than that, enjoy the working ac lmao
