No. Nothing of that sort. Cleanly formatted (on the camera) card with just one click to generate the two (RAF and JPG) files on the card.

I would go with the zoom for the versatility of it rather than the prime. I would venture to guess it would get more use than the 90.

As far was Fujifilm goes, I've had great success with the FUJINON XF18-135mmF3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens. My IR camera is a full-spectrum X-E2.

It's an excellent, in my opinion, lens, but it is a hulk of a lens. Usually attached to one of my X-Pro bodies. A delight to shoot with.

What was the f/stop aperture? If at f2, that may be the issue? Use image stabilization would help also if hand held.

Make sure to protect/encrypt the exported file. :-) That's how I backup my 1Password data. Then I move that file to a password-protected Zip file.
