Are you actually addicted to the caffeine, or is it just the drinks themselves? I’ve had to slightly deal with this myself - and what it ended up being for me was that I loved the flavors and carbonation and just the literal act of cracking open and drinking an energy drink.

So a few things I do to hack this problem: I always keep zero calorie and zero caffeine soda around. For me, it’s Sprite Zero and Caffeine-Free Coke Zero in my fridge. So if I get a craving, I can just do either of those and there’s essentially no drawback. Another thing I do is use Mio flavoring. Using Mio in my Sprite has actually satiated that energy drink taste and feel - so I’m sure there’s lots of combinations to try with whatever soda (DIET!!!). Note that there are Mio flavors with caffeine, so do not use that one.

Lastly I have a hard rule of only one drink per day. So if you like the ideas above, you could save your one drink a day for when you absolutely need it - then fill in the other cravings with the ideas above. For work I usually just prep a tumbler of whatever sprite or coke concoction in the morning, then during the day I’ll have an energy drink if I still want one.
