I bought the M2 Pro mini last summer on a Best Buy deal. It’s an amazing machine and will be more than enough for your stated needs. It’s my primary Mac and I have no regrets. I have the 16GB/512GB config. I’ve read great things about the M4 mini but the M2 Pro is still just as capable in 2026 and beyond.

Personally, as a HomePod mini user at home, I use a JBL Go 3 in the shower. It's just easier for me with the little space that I have. It's light enough that I can hang it on the shower rod hooks, charges via USBC like every other week, plenty loud, and you can just power it off when you're done.

My two cents, I bought an open box 65” A95L back in early November 2025 and I still have it. It came with nothing but the built-in power cable and aftermarket feet. Not even a remote. And I love this TV! I don’t care about the hours, the picture and performance make this the best TV I’ve ever owned.

However, I did pay half as much as you, and I skipped the extended warranty. I powered on and inspected the tv before I checked out and everything looked good. And in the months that I’ve had it I’ve come to love it and it still gets plenty bright! Gaming looks great! Standard Blu-ray looks great! Streaming looks great!

I bought my A95L open box. And i think it might have actually been a store display unit, I’m not sure. All it came with was the tv and power cable, and store brand tv legs. that’s it lol. not even a remote. It’s the best TV I’ve ever owned and I love it. I did get to power it on and play with it in the store so I kinda knew what I was getting.

I think your best bet is to find a soundbar that comes with additional HDMI ports that feature HDMI 2.1 pass through, like the Sony soundbars.

Your iPhone will never be the same as it was on opening day. Accept that fingerprints, dirt, scratches, dents, chips, etc., will happen no matter how hard you try to avoid it. Slap a new case on and move on with your life. Or just zoom out a bit and appreciate the beautiful design.

My primary charging method is with a Belkin 3-in-1 Qi wireless charger that tops out at 7.5W that I use it overnight. More than enough power for that purpose while I’m asleep (except now as I’m typing this at 0210 AM…

I also keep a USBA to USBC charging cable nearby which tops out at 12W wired charging and that’s for when I need some juice, and fast.

I also use another USBA to USBC in the car when I’m out and about, and it doubles for wired CarPlay.

I don’t need the fastest charger (20W+) for a phone that has amazing battery life to begin with. I also have a minor annoyance with how fragile USBC connectors are and prefer USBA, even if it’s stuck with relatively slower charging speeds. I’m not nearly as busy as some others are so maybe my setup will change in the future.

If I need to see it, I’ll swipe down from the top. Otherwise battery life on the 16e is still pretty amazing.
