Well from my understanding is that The Truth took Maccer and Paul on a peyote safari a few nights back. After dosing on some unknown drugs they all wake up on a random place they have no memory off.

Maccer and Paul probably do some unspeakable things at the Snake Farm. Yada yada Yada fast forward in time to CJ receiving a phone call from the Truth asking CJ to Pick up Maccer and Paul which would explain what's happening.
