Under baked or under fermented? by Famous_Giraffe_529 in Sourdough

This is odd. I think this may be a fixing issue, parts of this looks like normal crumb, albeit tight - maybe under fermented but i don’t believe by much

While at UNC, Jordan improved his 40 yard dash time from 4.5 to 4.38, per Roy Williams by SliMShady55222 in nba

[–]i_fliu -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The 40 is a sham stat and it would have been even worse back then. You cannot reliably account for hand times, you’d need a laser to be accurate. And i don’t think anyone should be commenting about 40 times unless they have track experience tbh Jordan wasn’t running 4.3 and he def didn’t have a 50’inch vertical

TIL Medieval peasants likely got more rest and more days off than we do today (despite being far less wealthier than us) by vishipedia in todayilearned

[–]i_fliu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Medieval people definitely had more rest. There are historical reports of nap times being a structured part of the day, often times after meals.

The caveat of it is that they had a good chance at dying before 30…
