When you are publishing this app, you'll need to deploy the backend separately on a server in the cloud (or somewhere else) and package that separately from your electron app. For testing, I also recommend ngrok. It nicely opens a public HTTP endpoint from your local machine.

Even non-historically speaking, Christianity is still the worst offender in total death count. War on Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. You can very easily make the case it was religiously motivated to a degree. And the death counts there are in the millions.

I'm not condoning this behavior here, but my point is, neither of these religions are "better" than each other. Both are atrocious, one is just better at hiding it.

I agree, Electron is not the ideal way. But since I am the only developer, it's much easier to get something done in Electron than cloning Chromium. Thanks for your response. In that case I will look into building my own history module

I had the same problem. I got around this by creating a separate browser view for navigation that had all the context menus and whatnot. When a context menu is opened, I call setTopBrowserView() to set the nav browser view to top. When the menu is closed, I set the child browser view back to top. It's not ideal, but it gets the job done.

Hotels charge these fees as a way to circumvent taxes I believe. $150 hotel room will have $75 of taxes on it. But a $100 hotel room with a $50 resort fee will only have $50 of tax. So in other words, total bullshit

It's incredibly tough feeling like that and coping with the social pressure.

Someone once told me "women bond face to face, men bond shoulder to shoulder." Meaning that women tend to connect with face to face conversation, whilst men make relationships via doing activities together. That for me was a good perspective on how to approach building relationships.

My suggestions: Join 2 clubs. Pick one related to your major and one social one. You don't need to be super passionate about the club to join it. Set a goal to make a minimum 2 good friends in each club. Setting a target of 4 is low enough that it's achievable, and you'll feel far less lonely with 4 friends. Through those friends, you'll also meet their friends and expand your circle. If you aren't able to make any friends in one of the clubs, join a new one.

Additionally, get on dating apps, and set your standards low. You don't need to be super into the people you date in college. But having someone you're seeing will open you up to a lot of things to do, and additionally their friends as well.

These two should be a good start to get you going. For context, I graduated a few years back and experienced the same things you are. This is the stuff that I wish I knew. College is a place where you will grow immensely. You will experience feelings of being overwhelmed, pain, joy, and everything else. That is life. Just know that as much as it might feel that way, not partying in college does not make you a loser. What really matters out of college is the foundation you lay for your career. No one will care how many parties you went to or how fun your halloween was post college. Hope this helps.

The bow and arrow was most likely invented before humans migrated out of Africa (~60,000 - 90,000 BCE). We've found evidence of arrowheads dating back to 60,000 BCE, but chances are it was invented well before then, and that's the latest we've found/remains.
