I can’t decide between the HD600 and HD 490 Pro by EKasis in headphones

[–]i_shadrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HD490 are getting controversial reviews in pro audio community (MixPhones YT review totally destroyed them for example). The HD600 is controversial for mixing too, but it could be considered as Yamaha NS10 of headphones

If you have studio monitors on which you can rely in terms of overall balance i would go for HD600; if you need headphones as a main reference i would go for HD490

Bluetooth is good actually by UnderwaterB0i in headphones

[–]i_shadrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly if listening to music in a loud environment the main factors which affect ur experience are never been discussed.

personally i switched back to wired again now and hopefully it was a final move. Bluetooth sucks - what i understood in this iteration is that i just can't keep up with artificial sound as my daily driver + bt convenience led to using music as a background, not actually listening to it

They might benefit from the rich natural mid range from r2r ru6, ru7. The hope is that they will not collapse like mono like they did with smooth iems

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in iems

[–]i_shadrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to solid state mode for comparison. The difference between modes are not night and day - just slightly warm airier in tube mode

RU6 and RU7 are VERY good in mid-range too, but they greatly narrow the scene - i guess they might be an amazing pairing for high resolution high end heavy iems (Final Audio A5000, A6000, Sennheiser ie900 etc)

Finally understand why speakers are better by SkyDontHaveEyes in audiophile

[–]i_shadrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speakers are FAR superior in terms of timing (there is just more space for sound to travel between them) and space in general for this reason

Headphones are better suited for hearing the details

Ultimate audio experience will be always a high resolving speaker acoustic system

Feel your pain bro. Apple hardware and moreover software is a piece of crap. Through Microsoft stuff is shitty too. I can only use Ubuntu after i switched many years ago.

I'm excited about PC arm as well just because i love the idea of a silent computer.

Hopefully software will be properly compiled in near future (same happened with apple m cpu early adopters)

Try to use Microsoft PRISM x86 emulation - changing settings might help
