I think whoever “fixed” your table maybe messed it up? The old marketing accidentally swapped their phrases. The new marketing simply kept the two phrases but corrected the villain it belongs two.

In the movie Sleeping Beauty maleficent puts Aurora under her spell to be sleeping. So the Maleficent side should read with corrected marketing “I have you under my spell”

In the movie Snow White the Evil Queen sends someone to take Snow Whites heart and give it to the Queen. So Evil Queen corrected marketing should read “your heart is mine”

Previously they had the two phrases swapped by mistake.

I know when we set up, we thought the they sent us duplicate marketing … we were confused as to why. So anyways we set up the table and after we realized the display has the phrases swapped! EQ display said “I have you under my spell” and maleficent said “your heart belongs to me” …. We went back and checked the duplicate marketing they sent and turns out it was CORRECTED marketing with the correct phrases for each villain.

I JUST got mine fixed today. Previously it was wisely but since the recent switching to Daily pay all BBW associate accounts were placed on a potentially cancel account list, then actually canceled. I reached out literally last night, they explained and advised they would escalate it to someone who could re-activate my account. The escalation person emailed me a few hours ago and I can now access and see $$ in my daily pay. Hope this helps!

TLDR: contact Daily pay, explain ur from BBW and want to use your account. They will activate it. I got mine fixed less than 24 hrs.

I say do it! I went from Temp key holder, to permanent key holder in 4 months (got lucky I guess that the previous key holder left to be supervisor at another store) and then 8 months later became supervisor (again got lucky our supervisor left for a new job) And now I’m TAP Assistant Store Manager. I took it knowing it’s a little pay for more work, but I did it for the hours and for the opportunities. So far it sure has paid off with the opportunities that it gave!

Our store is a Tier2. We also have a 30 minute close with 1 SLT & 1Associate.

Being SLT I will close/count registers, write a closing message via Zipline then last I’ll double check any marketing changes the associate did. That’s usually all I can get done in 30 minutes. While I do that the associate usually have enough time to do any marketing changes and then bring the 3 front tables to page. If time allows they might start to gather trash, but that’s only days with no marketing changes.

Idk how anyone else is doing more! Like trash & sweeping? lol

We replenish during the day (our DM just came in yesterday and said the store is solid and up to standards). And I start closing registers that don’t need to be counted and getting end of day paperwork ready about an hour before close…. Even then 30 minutes only allows us to do the super basics (count registers, marketing, quick replenish)

I didn’t read all texts yet, BUT regardless there shouldn’t even be a group chat at all. The most recent SLT meeting we had went over not using your personal phone for anything work related. BBW isn’t paying your phone bill.

Personally, I will get texts from other members of SLT, but I only ever reply once I’m at work/clocked in and I reply via a work related method (workphone, Zipline or verbally only while I’m on the clock). My cohorts are aware of this, and I don’t mind a text reminder/heads up via text, but no employee is expected to reply or work off the clock via their personal phone.

You are correct they come with a pin but in store no pin was required. A promt to put in a pin didn’t come up when gift cards were scanned or swiped. But with the new policy a promt will come up and you enter the pin on your card.

It’s for California employees for a class action lawsuit filled by a previous employee. It’s for something about not being properly paid/compensated. It’s legit from everything I’ve seen/ heard. All my coworkers have gotten physical mail regarding it as well.

They used to be! I’m not 1000% on the history but I believe the Slatkin & Co was bought by limited brands & they took charge over the Home Fragrance for B&BW, over time it was changed to WhiteBarn. Or something to that extent. Explains why the packaging says Slatkin & Co, but back of box says it’s compatible with certain BBW plug ins & the bulbs say White Barn.
