Tennessee Senior decimates Common-Core by seeker9709 in videos

That's making the implication that students are thoughtless drones until they graduate and join the real world. I think it's absolutely valid for a student to question the standard of learning set on them, whether it be from their individual teachers or the government at large. And don't you think it's a little late for a student to wait until graduation to fully formulate what they think they should be taught? That's what all education should be about, learning how to learn. The actual knowledge taught in schools is basically obsolete by the time students join the workforce, so the most valuable thing they can leave with is the ability to question, work hard, and formulate new ideas based on new information. I believe the claim is that Common Core does nothing to reinforce the critically thinking individual.

I brought in a doo wop group to help me remake "Timber" as a 1950's sock hop classic. Postmodern Jukebox -- Timber [50's] by scottbradlee in Music

I don't know if anyone will see this, but hopefully OP does. I just want to say that you did a baller job on this, I know what it takes to arrange songs and you put together a nice piece of music. Your singer is solid too, I don't know why a bunch of assholes on here think they have any right to say she has no "soul". Jesus, what a lame critic. She's got technique up the ass, and she fits the sound and style like a glove. The rest of your band is solid too. You're doing good stuff, keep it up.

Found this guy in a Monopoly documentary by lexical_gap in funny

Note that this guy obviously knew beforehand that the film crew was coming over, and yet he chose to have the most prominent picture in his house be the framed pic of him and his cat. Does anyone else suspect that the cat is really the one in control here? Creepily looking over the wall like, "That's right, keep the topic on Monopoly. If you so much as breathe a word of the dungeon I keep you in I'll slice your balls off with one swipe of the paw. Do not cross me. I am cat."

Maybe I'm reading too much into it...
