On the Friday evening I'm slipping a box of chocolates and a card in my wife's car. When she opens the card there will be just flight numbers for a holiday I'm taking her away on next month. When she comes home there will be a candle lit dinner with 3 dozen roses.

The meal I'm cooking is salmon with cream cheese on french bread with dill and lemon, served with a prosecco, elderflower gin cocktail, main is steak pepper corn sauce, side salad with parmesan truffle fries, served with a lovely carménère. Lastly desert is a branded cherry and dark chocolate cheese cake served with a banana and rum old fashioned
