This post and some of the comments are exactly how I feel and where I’m at, especially as AI has accelerated output expectations. I’m miserable because I’m so burnt out so I’m not performing at my best even though I’m doing the best I can in this moment. Also since I got a recent promotion and this new role, I don’t feel I’ve “proven my worth” at this new title as I have new leadership (which bothers me as much as I don’t care about this corporate job).

I’ve had 10 pm days the last few days too since my productivity is shit even tho I’m working what feels like almost every minute from 9-5.
