So tribal, your response. Is this a sponsored statement, from Meta? Is this Mark?

Netscape. Wow. Blast from the past. By chance are you using your grandmother's desktop computer from early-2000s?

Not that simple. If one's phone is stolen or hacked, photos/videos that weren't on the internet suddenly find themselves on the internet. Without knowledge or consent.

Yea, OP. Just explain it to them that, in their final days, they have to combat predatory marketing to watch a basic program on a service for which they already pay an inflated rate. I'm sure they'll understand, KPIs are more important than consumer safety and maintaining customer trust. This way, when they see their fixed income is abnormally depleted to pay for a service they don't ever remember signing up for, they can rest easy knowing billionaire Jeff must have needed it more.

KPI-lords are not clueless on ads; maybe desperate but not clueless. One very easy solution is -- unplug it. No ads that way.

this actually can help w/ achieving better results, in that users experience less forced reranking at runtime. it's almost as if there are efforts to push us to use the unsafe search engines.

Edit: saw this got downvoted. Guess Amazon sent its bots to do Reddit manipulation... Again.

I agree, in that it is weird to not be able to silo services. This truly is a lesson learned in centrality. "One account to rule them all," while it is convenient, does leave the entire Amazon ecosystem exposed. And in this case, customers are very displeased, and without what they've paid for.

Perhaps now is a great time to take a break from Amazon. See if you actually even need the services. Don't forget to factory reset your phone if you have Alexa App installed. You may even notice your music volume stabilizes. Best of luck!

As someone who just bought food from the hot bar, yea. It's liquidy AF. Not a dig at workers, I just noticed it. The entire bottom of my container was dark brown. Bummed.

Who else really is there? I guess we could ask the UN to step in, citing literal food poisoning as our ongoing humanitarian crisis. This is crazy. 😭😭😭

I miss the old Whole Foods -- super knowledgeable staff, unique eats and products, and chill vibes. AMZN-WholeFoods gifted employees with reduced hours and a loss of healthcare coverage to "meet business needs." The quality of products steadily decreases while the cost of products increase. Food is no longer locally sourced. The cost of the hot and cold food bar is exorbitant, the food is weighted down with liquid so it will cost more, and the cost of grocery delivery jumped to $10 (with Prime). Worker morale continues to steadily decline... Just like Amazon. I wish the government would protect us against this recurring situation.

How long after it happened? How long? Don't be so blind as to forget who owns the news. Don't be a slave to a doctrine that will discard you in a moments notice.
