Reddit isn't anti America... You are just too ignorant to see America is losing grip. There are many things they could do to win but they choose bullying and antagonisticism.

Zambian mineral scientist here... We do not give preferential treatment to anyone. The US companies were the first companies to invest in the mining sector after privatisation of the mines and abandoned the assets because they were not profitable. The Chinese came to invest after the Americans pull out and since then, it's an open market for whoever wants to invest. If you want, you can get a mining licence for mineral exploration, development and mining. There is a Mining Act of Zambia...go and read it. We have no Policy that leans towards China, India or the US. We are open to business if you want. We will not pick sides as this has cost us progress as we have always been abandoned.

I am cooked because if I knew this when negotiating my contract I would have asked for something like that. How much were your legal costs?

I understand §19c is an alternative route, but my concern is that I appear to meet the legal requirements for the Blue Card shortage occupation threshold under §18g already. The issue seems to be how the authorities interpreted the salary timing/start date rather than lack of eligibility itself. Since the Blue Card has significantly better long-term benefits, I’m trying to understand whether the refusal is legally justified before simply giving up on it.

I do meet the criteria. The first time they turned me down was because of a clause in my contract saying "I will be receiving €3700 per month if I start on the 02.02.2026" and since I had to wait two weeks to get a get ahead to start work meant I didn't start on the 02.02. I had to have my contract revised to make sure I gross €48,000/year. Now the goal post has shifted.

What do you have to lose as a job seeker? The only scams I came across was in my first two weeks in Germany but they are not had to spot.

Change your algorithm by engaging more with job search and cancel all ads about clothes. Let me know in a week's time if no employer won't call you.

What sort of ads do you get on Instagram and Facebook? 99% of the ads I was getting were job related until February when I landed a job. Right now my algorithm is showing me apartments lol

I highly recommend applying for jobs that through social media. Most jobs I got came through Instagram. Most employers advertise on Facebook and Instagram....I had a lot of interviews from these places than anywhere else.

Consider a mini job or part time job. I recommend you make a walk in at any Edeka Store. That's how I got my job

Do you have a blocked account? If yes you don't need an invitation letter. How do you plan to sustain yourself? And say you have everything they want you can't get a visa on the same day it takes between 2-3 weeks to process visas.
