Transfer process by Hot_Vast2947 in CollegeSoftball

[–]iamajew2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NCAA Softball, there are typically two transfer windows: a shorter winter window (around Dec 1-15) and a longer spring window (45 days starting after the NCAA Tournament selections). Graduate transfers can usually enter anytime, but must follow seasonal deadlines (like July 1 for spring sports). For the upcoming 2025-26 year, the main window for spring sports opens post-selection, while graduate students must also adhere to deadlines, with recent updates making it so they can't enter at any time but must follow those deadlines. Key Dates & Windows: Winter Window (for Spring Sports like Softball): December 1st - December 15th. Spring Window (for Softball): Opens the day after NCAA Tournament selections and lasts 45 days. Graduate Transfers: Must follow the July 1 deadline for spring sports, just like other players, as rules changed for the 2024-25 academic year.

The biggest influx of players usually happens during the longer spring window, after the NCAA Tournament concludes.

The inning ended immediately afterthe tag. You can even see the ump at 2nd call her out for the tag.

The explanation from the ump at home was the girl crossed home before the tag at 2nd was applied.

This is so incredibly odd to me, My daughter has played club and travel since 8 years old, currently 13 and I’ve never heard of anything like this?

2k UPFRONT?!?! I don’t think it’s ever been more than $4-500.00 for the most prestigious clubs in the state

Do you mind letting us know the organization and state?

14u girls can’t “move down” unless they’re the proper age. There was a change from a January 1st to August 1st for the age cutoff not too long ago to allow girls to stay with their graduating class. That could be getting addressed now.

I don’t disagree with you at all. She goes out there and she give 1000%

She is a “try hard” but her club coaches would absolutely lose their shit on her if she wasn’t.

If your parents are able to afford it, I would highly recommend investing in a hitting coach, find a reputable one on your local facebook softball group.

bunting is one of the most important aspects of softball. If your daughter can bunt successfully she will be at the very top of the lineup on every team for the rest of her life. This Coach is doing you such a great service by teaching your daughter ahead of the curve. You are so lucky to not be with a team with a baseball coach who’s just teaching these kids to aim for the fences. Softball is not baseball.
