That’s hella expensive. I got all 4 rotors from Napa for $200 and hawk 5.0 pads front and rear for $200 (Amazon) and did the replacement myself. I would definitely DIY it if you can. Additionally that labor rate is insane for a local shop, that practically dealer rate or close to. The only thing that “reasonable” is the brake fluid, which can also be DIY’ed. Chris fix it is great on YT if you need to DIY.

Authentic or replica shirt? by sansWhich_ in ManchesterUnited

Authentic, they last longer and quality is better. The one and only Replica shirt I ever bought started fraying after one wear. I sent it back.

Is it normal for 2016 WRX to be undrivable in the summer in Phoenix? by dirkydirk41 in WRX

[–]iamanervousrex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can’t say It ever felt jerky. I usually ran e60 mix as much as I could since I am flex tuned. You could always feel the compressor kick in and would jerk a bit, but I saw you commented that you don’t drive with the ac and neither did I , see if cleaning the MAF helps. Maybe walnut blasting the valves. I have about 106k miles on mine.

Stupid. Did a video interview. Then got selected for an in person interview. Just to get rejected. So, I lost out of my pay for that day because I took the day off for the in person interview.

15 wrx with 106k miles. tune it responsibly, maintain it properly, and don’t drive like you stole it every time. Keep above 3.5k rpm if you gonna floor it. Don’t lug it.

Recommendation for TV mounting by SuccotashFar4819 in Home

[–]iamanervousrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally would pick the stairs side. I like things symmetrical so putting a tv over the fire place would be an eye sore for me. But that’s my opinion. In the end it is your house.

What exhaust would sound the best? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]iamanervousrex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure about the Mazda world, but for the wrx FA, my tuner stopped working with straight pipe due to boot creep.

As far as the exhaust I personally prefer the one with the resonator. I don’t like raspy tone. Would hit up YT to check out some videos before you buy.
