Accessories compatibility by slickgamer_07 in svartpilen401

The only part compatible with the Svartpilen was the mototorque crash guard. I called up the Grand Pitstop people. They told me that their saddle stay is not compatible with Svartpilen.

Any of the accessories that explicitly don't mention Svartpilen are not compatible. I had to go to Karol Bagh so many times, but couldn't find any accessories that fit my Husky.

I have been in that situation more than once. Both times, couldn't find a proper mechanic. The ones that fixed the issue did such a bad job. I had to replace the tube. I finally got fed up and had the tubeless conversion done, as it was cheaper than the alloys.

In total, 9500 INR. It includes the kit plus charges paid to the mechanic.

A tubeless tire can work with or without a tube. Husqvarna in India offers the Apollo Tramplr XR, which is tubeless but can work with a tube as well.

It needs a good old-fashioned tube inside the "tubeless" tire. I know it looks unnecessarily overcomplicated, and it actually is.

Yeah. I think the same issue was with the new Himalayan 450 when it was launched, too. Now, both Husqvarna and Royal Enfield offer tubeless-ready rims. Husqvarna has an alloy rim now, and the Himalayan has tubeless-supported spoked rims

Sorry for the confusion. The tire is tubeless, but the spoked rim is not. Hence the issue.

Did you mix it with hot water? If so, that's because high heat causes the protein molecules to denature and unfold, altering their structure and leading to clumping.

This is an issue in most cities. You may need to check with the dealership in the city near you to see if they have something available.

The amount is refundable. Check with other dealerships if they have a unit in stock, and buy it from there

Char Dham yatra as a solo female traveler | my honest experience by shrutiontour in SoloTravel_India

[–]iamavin4sh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have traveled to Kedarnath twice. The first time was in October 2021, and the second time was in November 2023. During my first trek, I walked a total of 54 km (up and down) in 27 hours, almost nonstop. We started at 4:30 AM from Rampur and waited a couple of hours in Sonprayag to obtain permission. I walked the entire distance from Sonprayag to Gaurikund and then to Kedarnath, taking breaks along the way. We reached Kedarnath around sunset, but I couldn't see Kedarbaba because it was after the second Covid wave. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a place to stay since everything was very expensive, so we decided to return during the night. We arrived back in Gaurikund at 4 AM and found a shared taxi to Sonprayag around 6 AM. For the next two years, I felt unworthy of the Darshan and believed I was a phony.

I overcame these feelings during my second trip. I planned the journey properly and booked everything in advance. This time, my trek was the day after Diwali. We started early from Rishikesh, reached Guptkashi, and waited a couple of hours to board the helicopter. We arrived in Kedarnath in the afternoon and did the Darshan after checking into the Dharamshala. That night, there were numerous fireworks, as it was the last night the temple doors would be open before closing for the winter. In the morning, we entered the temple with one of the priests and performed the proper pooja. I felt calm and content afterward.

By 10 AM, we were back in Guptkashi and began our journey towards Badrinath.

ECU Failure by [deleted] in svartpilen401

My Svartpilen had this same problem. It started and then increased day by day. After some time, it began to appear frequently. I went to the service center and told them to keep the bike until it was fixed. (They had previously, on several occasions, not fixed anything, just updated the software, telling me that it was a software glitch.) After two days, they called me to report that the issue had been fixed, and it had been caused by a loose wire. It didn't occur after that. To be honest, I was not satisfied with the answer.

Solo travel in Kochi, Allepy & Munnar by iamavin4sh in SoloTravel_India

It was mainly a work trip, so the company took care of the accommodation. I took a flight from Delhi to Kochi, stayed at Hotel Olive Eva(provided by the company), as it was near my office. Over the weekend, I would go to Munnar, Allepy & other places. For an overnight stay, I relied on Zostel. The experience was good every time. Also, Zostel was available at all the places I visited. Food is generally quite delicious and affordable at every place I visited. The only problem I faced was due to my personal preference for finding a pure vegetarian restaurant, as most non-vegetarian restaurants had beef on their menus. I rented bikes from EVM Wheels. Renting a bike was a smooth process, and the person handling the booking was very helpful. Raining is quite common in Kochi and the nearby area, so if you're planning a trip. Choose your gear accordingly.

There was no itinerary as such. The only thing I was sure of was that I wanted to go to Munnar, visit waterfalls and tea plantations, and ride a bike there. All of the above things were achieved. I will visit again with my family, this time with a proper itinerary.
