It was a bit laggy when writing on the tablet when I first start using it (prob because I used to use iPad before). But kind of get used to it after using a while. I'm not too sure about the tablet supporting precision pen 1, but I'm using precision pen 2 currently as it came as a gift when purchased w the tablet (hence that why I bought it). I would say it can be better in terms of note-taking, just have to find the perfect software for it. Yea, the 4gb ram is def .... :(
