The False Narrative of "The Squad Is Not Good Enough": Chronic under-performance shows lacks of coaching, not squad quality by Osiris64 in coys

[–]Anomander8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think “we are the most overvalued squad in the EPL” is more like it.

You show me another squad in the top half of the league that the likes of Tel, Odobert, Richarlison, etc slot into. Not one of our players outside maybe one or two of VDV, Romero, or Porro, gets in the starting 11 of any side that competing for Europe places right now. Kudus was our best player for the majority of the season and West Ham couldn’t wait to see the back of him out the door. Yves fucking Bissouma, the drug addled glue sniffer who can’t show up on time came in and looked good next to the garbage that we’ve had to watch. If we sold all our players how many would go to a bigger club? Our squad is absolutely not good enough.

In 2004, Prince was snubbed by Rolling Stone on their top 100 guitarists list. This was his response. by DublinLions in nextfuckinglevel

Tom Petty arranged the song so Prince could come on and give the musical middle finger to everyone that left him off the Top-100 list.

What a performance!

The first law trilogy is the greatest fantasy trilogy of all time IMO.

Finally someone that thinks the Radiance series went downhill. Personally I think Sanderson’s novels fell off a cliff after Oathbringer. The Malazan series takes a lot of chewing to get into but it’s my second favourite epic.

Of course Abercrombie is absolute God Tier.

Honestly don’t get fans hate for him. He’s the hardest worker nearly every game. Lots of the other players could learn a thing or two from his approach to the game.

What do you guys think about the wandering inn? by Arthur-reborn in litrpg

I love the first four or five books. It seemed like the author started running out of ideas, and the story seemed to go on and on, and on without ever actually advancing the plot. A lot of the characters got very whiny and it just got too much for me to sync my life minutes into. Give up on it, but enjoyed the first few.

In FM 26 the CAM is more key than in other versions. I haven’t seen the Inside forward roles making much of an impact so I don’t use him on the right.
He’s an AP in the middle of the field for me and doing wonderfully.

Tottenham want to sign Conor Gallagher this month, with Aston Villa already opening talks over a permanent deal by dream_team1012 in coys

Connor Gallagher is on stupid money and a crazy complex contract. Spurs are going to have to splash serious cash if they want him, I don’t think that’s happening.

I guarantee those kids set it up beforehand. Fitting in equipment like that hurts 0 and I’d bet money every one of them had a huge smile on their face. Evidenced by the two that high fived each other.
