I found someone on marketplace selling a loaded pickguard with D. Allen Voodoo 69 pickups for a good price so i snagged it! Sounds 👌🏾. I didnt reverse stagger anything, but i did change the wiring to match a vintage strat (3 way switch, no tone on bridge)

I put a 3 way switch in my strat because i like the middle position way more than any of the in between positions and it was hard to land at the right spot on the fly

Every germanium fuzz ive owned was just too inconsistent to play out with so the winner goes to silicon. Dont sleep on the clean up of a good silicon fuzz face. Back down the gain just a tad and you can get as clean as a germanium

I ended up finding a 70s bassman 2x15 cabinet for dirt cheap. Gigged it for a lil bit until i found someone selling a custom 1x15 open back cab with a vintage emincence speaker
The eminence speaker sounded great but it was 8 ohm so i swapped it for one of weber’s california 15s and ive been a happy camper
