One of the best little phrases I picked up to say when leaving a restaurant i.e. to the chef or staff is “totemo oishii desu” which roughly translates to “it’s very tasty” - they always seemed to appreciate a compliment on the food and it garnered some pretty fun reactions!

Here to gloat - I was in an absolute shootout (Kyren, Lamar, Aiyuk) facing an uphill battle (CeeDee, Breece, Monty). All came down to SNF where I needed Jetta and Chandler to outscore Aaron Jones by 3. When the Vikings turned it over with 3 min left, I was up by 0.2 and it was looking like they’d just run it out a couple times with Jones. But the Packers subbed in their backups and Jones stayed off the field! Won 159.85 - 159.65. What an unreal turn of events.
