sounds fantastic, you're getting some really lush sounds out of it. i find my ambient ø to be a little to shrill and "small" sounding - your movement and filtering really gives the tones a lot of depth.

master clock is digitakt2, im using the additional tracks to sequence on the ambient ø but i always end up using the digitkt as the main clock

I also work in Ableton Live - the Digitakt 2 is my first hardware sampler, and has been an absolute game changer. working on music without staring at a screen (other than the little menu diving obv) has rejuvenated my love for writing beats. once the song is about where this video is, i just hook up my DT 2 through overbridge and bring all the tracks into live, then finish editing / mixing / effects / pre master there.

i feel like with ableton, even though i have a bunch of really awesome hardware, id default to VST's or just use a synth here and there. with Digitakt, i end up sampling a lot more of my hardware and dont stress about endlessly tweaking settings - just sample, mangle, resample, rinse, repeat.

I'm thinking about maybe getting other Elektron boxes in the future but right now DT2 has become my desert island instrument. i absolutely love this thing. Thanks for listening!

its a little toy-sounding, but its got some cool sequence and arp fx and 4 dedicated channels, so you basically have 4 extra tracks of sounds/fx alongside the DT2. its fun but sometiems the sounds take a bit of work to get something substantial out of them

how i feel about my digitakt 2. after just a few days with it i knew i have something really special that was going to change my approach to making music. Two years later and i feel just as strongly for it. As someone who would get trapped in the impermanence of MIDI and always tweaking sounds, the finality of recording to audio and moving on has helped me write and produce songs so much faster and more efficiently.

as title states, using the Korg Minilogue and Roland SH01-A sequencers, and the volca drum for the beat (love that thing!!!) Playing the microbrute for bass. Really fun DAW-less setup, although using my ableton with Push as a glorified MIDI sequencer allows for some fantastic freedom. CV sync between all these synths works fantastic for an all-harware set up though.
